Climate Innovation in Corporations

A four-week online course exploring and applying the concepts of corporate climate innovation and design thinking to drive new corporate sustainability solutions.

Course level: Introductory

About this course

A growing number of corporations are making climate commitments; however, there remains a sizable innovation gap for them to achieve those commitments. This course will review the role of climate innovation within corporate sustainability and explore how to create the conditions that foster the development of climate solutions in a company. You’ll learn the key levers of climate innovation available both within and external to a company such as innovation labs and industry collaborations. You’ll explore how to identify new climate solutions using design-thinking principles and how to advance new ideas within a company through business cases.

You’ll walk away from the course with an understanding of how businesses can create an ecosystem that generates new solutions to reach climate goals and how to champion those ideas as an employee, consultant, or leader.
